This is the most anticipated BMX event in the Philippines. This events started with humble beginnings. A handful of dedicated riders organized a DIY (do-it-yourself) BMX Flatland competition hoping to make the BMX scene alive again (Flatland in particular). We riders are longing for a true event that is meant for us. Not some capitalistic propaganda to earn lots and lots of money. The outcome is overwhelming. We didn’t expect that a lot of riders including riders (from Northern Luzon, Southern and Luzon Visayas Region) will show up on the Jam. That is one challenging attempt to revive the almost dead scene in the Philippines but we never lost hope. Guest what? We didn’t stop there hence the birth of Fl!pbykes Flatmaster 2K8. Now we did some enhancements… a lot of enhancements. We now have a bigger space (SM Mall of Asia) and we invited few pro flatland riders, York Uno (KOG and Asian X-Games Champion) from Japan and Calvin Tan (X-treme Singapore Champion) from Singapore. Unfortunately Hiro Morizaki can’t make it due to arm injury he had few fractured bones and need to recover first before joining any jam or competition. Maybe next time he’ll make it. We also included a mini Street Jam for our brothers in BMX street. Thinking about this event gives me anxiety (in a good way) I hope there will be no flaws and everything will turn out fine. See you all on 20th December at SM Mall of Asia Complex, San Miguel By The Bay there will be lot’s of surprises so grab a ticket (also serves as raffle coupon) for a chance to get free goodies!!!
